Kids Program

SandysDance Center Kids Ballroom Classes are designed to provide children with the basic skills needed be a competent social ballroom dancer. The syllabus will include Smooth, Rhythm, and Latin Dances. The class will also include instruction on the foundations of balance, frame, lead and follow, and dance etiquette. The Kids Ballroom Class is held on Saturday mornings at 10 am and covers a different dance each month. For more information regarding the Kids Program, call 465-4534. What do I wear to Kids Ballroom Class? For classroom environment, wear something casual and comfortable. Shoes should be low-heel and of the type that will stay on your feet. No sandals or flip flops. Rubber soled tennis shoes tend to stick to the floor. Non-rubber soled or leather-soled shoes work best. How much does it cost for the Kids Ballroom Class? Kids Classes are $40 per month (or $10 to drop in).
